I bet this has you curious! You may have noticed that I've been neglecting my blog some in the past two weeks. That is because my brain has been seriously preoccupied. Yes, we are moving..............back home to Montana! Ray has been unhappy in his job since they merged with Europe 2-3 yrs ago. Since then, he's had a European boss and they just have totally different priorities. We've toyed around with several options but ultimately decided it made the most sense to go back home and start involving ourselves in the family businesses. My parents have a restaurant, lounge/casino, sports pub/casino, and large cattle ranch. My brother runs the ranch and we'll start helping with the rest. Well, mostly Ray will be as I'll just do some part time accounting as I mostly still want to be home with the kids.
We've truly loved it here so it's going to be very hard to leave. However, all of our family is west so that is going to be awesome. The kids are ecstatic, too. We do plan to build a house and the above photo is one of the better layouts we've come across so far. It's not perfect, though. We've looked at so many house plans that my eyes are starting to cross!
We'll be staying here through May so the kids can finish up school. Also, they're very shorthanded at Ray's work so he'll help get some of those positions hired and transitioned. It's been a wonderful 13 years here and we've made several lifetime friends. We'll really miss our school as the town we're moving back to is small and has no private school. But, we feel that the timing is right and God is leading us in this direction. Now, comes the daunting task of organizing and moving all our crap!!
