Things on Tuesday
Thumbs Down:
- I went to a medical doctor for my shoulder issues yesterday and he sent me straight for an MRI. I wasn't really expecting that. The guy who does the MRIs is a good friend of ours from wrestling and his wife works with him. Let me just say that it's a bit awkward to be standing behind a curtain while your male friend tells you to remove your bra & pants while his wife is beside him. I really prefer not knowing my medical professionals. I've never considered myself claustrophobic but I don't think I realized exactly how small an MRI tube is. I made it through but don't have any interest in doing it again. I honestly don't know how my dad made it through his since he's very claustrophobic and much larger than me.
- Cody's football game ended in a 0-0 tie last night and was over in 40 minutes. They're supposed to be 1 1/2 hours so we're pretty sure the referee ran 2 quarters instead of 2 halves.
- My brother's girlfriend got sick so wasn't able to come visit us on Sunday.
- The rainy weekend caused Lily's soccer game to be cancelled.
Thumbs Up:
- The advantage to being friends with the guy who does the MRIs is that he gave me a copy of the CD and showed me what he saw right away. Technically, a radiologist will review it and write the report but my friend pretty much knows what the pictures show.
- Sunshine at last.
- 4 days until Disney World. The forecast? There's a chance of rain the evening we get in. The rest of the week will be sunny with daytime highs between 77-83 and lows between 64-68. Can you say perrrrrrfect?!
- Finding Ray & I new Halloween costumes for under $20. We were just invited to a party and I was thinking I was off the hook for this year.
